How to order
Make a simple first inquiry for free. Let me find out if it os possible för me to deliver your family story and your family tree. You can write to me using the form to the left. You can also e-mail me at rotdetektiven@outlook.com (Rotdetektiven in Swedish means the root detective and is my Swedish nick name)
Before you decide on whether you want to place an order with me or not, I can help you make sure that your 1st person/staring person is searchable (and this information will later serve as a starting point for your future genealogy report).
The best result is when you know the following:
- The name (preferable full name including middle name(s)) of your starting person (maiden name if it is a female).
- The birth date of your starting person (can sometimes work with just year of birth if the other information is correct)
- The place of birth of your starting person (preferable in Sweden, but birthplace in the US also works sometimes).
- Any other information about possible relatives or other information that can help me.
After my first look in to the Swedish archives I will contact you via e-mail to let you know if it is possible to continue right way or if I need more information from you. This is also when you decide if you will place an order or not, and exactly which one of my genealogy packages that you are interested in.
Final results, payment & delivery
The result is delivered as pdf files, as well as a GEDCOM file via e-mail.
Since family research is a time-consuming job, half the price is always to be payed in advance before the research begins. The other half is to be payed upon final delivery.
Normal time of delivery is within five weeks, but it varies a bit over the year depending on the number of orders in line.
